Using Rentop App

Rentop is a user-friendly platform that allows riders to book vehicles hassle-free. Riders need to login, enter the dates, choose the desired vehicle, confirm the booking, and start the voyage.

Pricing & Payments

Well, that completely depends on the host's decision. The riders need to make full payment + security deposit if the host has defined it on the booking. Riders will be able to check the booking amount and security deposit before making the final deal.

No, it's not mandatory for all vehicles. But, it depends on the host, if they would like to collect the security deposit. In that case, a rider will be able to check security deposit charges at the time of booking.

To book on Rentop, riders need to provide original ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport in addition to a valid driving license. Rentop does not allow booking with photocopies or color copies. Riders can check for additional terms and conditions on the bike listing page. For NRIs and Foreign riders, International Driving License is required.

Security deposit is not mandatory for all vehicles. But, it depends on the host, if they collect the security deposit. Once the ride is complete and you have returned the vehicle to the host, the security deposit will be refunded right away.

Riders can connect with hosts directly on the contact details provided at the time of booking. If the hosts are not cooperating with the matter, please contact us at support@rentop.in. Rentop won't be responsible for any mishaps but we will take necessary actions against the hosts.

Yes, the two-wheeler documents such as Registration Certificate, Pollution Certificate, and Vehicle Insurance will be provided by the hosts. Documents can be either original ones, soft copies, or online, that depends on the host you are choosing.

Disputes & Violations

NO, Rentop will not help if the riders violate traffic rules. Riders will need to clear the penalty charges and pay the traffic challans by themselves. Furthermore, for any assistance regarding the vehicle documentation, riders can contact us at support@rentop.in.

Yes, riders will be charged for vehicle damages and liability that happens during the booking period. However, the penalty charges will be decided by the hosts and paid by the rider only. Riders can upload photos in pickup flow to ensure a smooth drop off experience. Rentop team will validate damages submitted on the app to arrive at a conclusion. Take note that Rentop is not responsible for any damages and repair costs of the vehicle.

Getting Started

Rentop currently allows you to list your vehicle in the following three categories: bicycles, scooters, and bikes. We will be adding more categories in the future.

If your vehicle is not older than 12 years and has all documents up to date, it is eligible for rental on Rentop.

There is no limit to the number of vehicles that a host can list at Rentop.

We are building an ecosystem that will run by trusted hosts and riders. Once we start providing rider & vehicle insurance and additional services, the platform will start charging little percentage.

Yes, you can add the accessories at the time of listing your vehicle. Further, you can adjust the vehicle price slightly higher to recover the cost of accessories as well.

We regularly clean out low-rated profiles from our system to ensure your vehicle remains in the hands of legitimate riders. In addition, you can purchase third-party tracking devices and install on your two-wheeler for enhanced safety.

As a host, ensure to complete the Handoff and Collect flows on the app. Rentop collects data that will be used to penalize and claim reimbursement from the riders. We will also be offering insurance on every ride soon to ensure reimbursement against damage is provided to the host without any hassle.

At the time you collect the vehicle, please report the same to the rider and ask for a reimbursement. If a rider does not pay, please report the same in the Collect Flow and also rate/review him/her. If the damage cost is still not paid, please contact us at support@rentop.in and we will help you claim insurance coverage from your existing insurance provider. However, Rentop is not responsible in case of total loss of the vehicle or if incase someone meets with an accident.

If the challans have a time stamp that falls in the duration of the trip, then the rider should be paying for the challans.
