How Rentop Works: Rent a Bike or Book a Taxi in 3 Simple Steps

Rentop is one platform for getting around: rent a self-drive bike or scooty from a local host, or book an owner-driven taxi from Jaipur. Here's exactly how both work, step by step.

Key takeaways

  • Two services, one platform: Self-drive two-wheelers from local hosts, and chauffeur-driven taxis that start from Jaipur.
  • Self-drive: Search your city and dates, choose a vehicle, pay a small online reservation fee, and pay the rest directly to the host.
  • Taxi: See the exact cab and driver before you book, pay a small advance online, and pay the rest to the driver after the trip.
  • Round-trip pricing: Outstation taxi fares are round-trip prices, and a one-way trip costs the same.

Most trips need two kinds of transport: something to get you to your destination, and something to move around freely once you're there. Rentop brings both into one place.

Rentop isn't an aggregator that sends you whichever vehicle is free. You deal with real local owners, and you see the vehicle, and for taxis the driver too, before you pay. Here's how it works.

What is Rentop?

Rentop is a mobility platform built around local vehicle owners. It offers two services:

  • Self-drive bikes and scooties: Rent a two-wheeler from a local host in cities like Jaipur, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Goa, Hyderabad and more, and ride it yourself.
  • Taxis from Jaipur: Book a chauffeur-driven cab with a hand-picked local owner for outstation trips, full-day sightseeing or airport transfers. All taxi trips start from Jaipur.

How to rent a bike or scooty on Rentop

  1. 1

    Search and choose your vehicle

Go to Self Drive or open the Rentop app, then enter your city and your pickup and return times. Browse the bikes and scooties available for your dates. Each listing shows photos, key specs, the host's rating, the riding rules and the pickup location, so you know exactly what you're getting.

  2. 2

    Sign in and reserve

Sign in with your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). To confirm, you pay a small online reservation fee; the remaining amount is paid directly to the host, as per the host's terms. Some vehicles are confirmed instantly, while others are sent to the host as a request to approve.

  3. 3

    Pick up and ride

Upload your driving licence in the app (it's mandatory), meet the host and take photos of the vehicle while confirming pickup in the app. Enjoy your ride, return the vehicle on time, or book an extension in the app if you need it longer. Finally, rate your host to help other riders.

How to book a taxi from Jaipur on Rentop

  1. 1

    Choose your trip

Pick an outstation route such as Jaipur to Delhi or Jaipur to Khatu Shyam Ji, a full-day Jaipur sightseeing tour, or an airport transfer. Enter your travel date and time.

  2. 2

See the exact cab and driver

Instead of a random dispatch, you see the actual cab and the driver who will take you, including photos, the vehicle and ratings, and you choose the one you're comfortable with. Outstation fares are all-inclusive round-trip prices, and a one-way trip costs the same, because the cab returns to Jaipur either way.

  3. 3

Pay a small advance and travel

Pay a small advance online to confirm your booking, and pay the rest to the driver after the trip. There are no hidden charges added later.

  • Transparent pricing: The price you see is the price you pay, with no hidden charges.
  • One platform for the whole trip: Take a taxi to get there, then rent a bike or scooty to explore once you arrive.

No. For self-drive rentals, you pay a small online reservation fee and the rest directly to the host. For taxis, you pay a small advance online and the rest to the driver after the trip.
